Intravenous Therapies

What are Intravenous (IV) Therapies?

Intravenous Nutritional Therapy (IV) is a way of getting vitamins, amino acids, minerals, homeopathics, botanicals and other nutrients into the bloodstream quickly. This is a safe way to achieve the concentration levels necessary for many of these nutrients.

At Anatara Medicine, we offer a variety of IV Nutritional therapies tailored to meet the individual needs of our patients. Our IV therapies include:

Glutathione & NAC: Glutathione is our body’s most important antioxidant whose role is to prevent damage to important cellular components caused by reactive oxygen species such as free radicals and peroxides. When glutathione levels are low, one often supplements with both glutathione and its precursor, NAC (n-acetyl cysteine).

Vitamin C: Vitamin C is a water-soluble vitamin that is not made or stored naturally in the body. Growth and repair of tissues such as skin, tendons, ligaments, blood vessels, cartilage, bones, and teeth are largely dependent on vitamin C.

Myers’ Cocktail: A Myers’ cocktail is a mixture of vitamins and minerals including magnesium, calcium, selenium, B vitamins, and vitamin C that is administered as an intravenous (IV) push and used to treat a variety of conditions.

Chelation Therapy: Chelation therapy is used to remove heavy metals from the body. Injection of EDTA (Ethylene Diamine Tetraacetic Acid) chelates, or binds metals such as iron, lead, mercury, cadmium, and zinc, which are then eliminated from the body. Oxidation/Ozone: In the medical field, intravenous ozone has incredible therapeutic potential. It has been shown to support broad-spectrum antimicrobial activity combating bacteria, viruses, and fungi. Ozone can be used acutely to address colds and flus or it can be used to address more chronic conditions such as herpetic infections, mold toxicity, fatigue, and Lyme Disease.

Multi-pass Ozone is now available at Anatara Medicine!

Herrmann Ozone DeviceMulti-pass ozone, aka hyperbaric ozone, is now available. With multi-pass ozone, patients can receive up to ten times the volume of ozone at significantly higher concentrations, significantly faster. The main populations for the multi-pass ozone are Lyme disease, co-infections and viral infections; vascular conditions; to repair/recover in order to induce one’s innate stem cells as an anti-aging strategy; and patients with a history of cancer, now in remission, added to their preventative measures.

Ultraviolet Blood Irradiation/UVBI: Ultraviolet (UV) light therapy, or photoluminescence, is an uncomplicated, painless and safe means of treating disease. UV light has been used in disinfection for years in the elimination of viral, fungal and bacterial organisms rapidly and effectively.

UVLrx: UVA & Red light are used simultaneously during the first half of treatment and the second half, red and green light are used.

Poly MVA: Poly-MVA is formulated to supplement the depleted body with energy by changing the electrical potential of cells and enabling aerobic metabolism. The formula contains a blend of the mineral palladium bonded to alpha-lipoid acid, vitamin B1, vitamin B2, vitamin B12, formyl-methionine, N-acetyl cysteine, and trace amounts of molybdenum, rhodium, and ruthenium.

Patient Testimonials

“I am very pleased with the results of the IV therapy. I haven’t felt this normal for a really long time. It’s truly amazing! I’d forgotten that I had been feeling crummy. I had my first night of good sleep in a while, thank you Anatara, and tell everyone thank you!”

40-something with Autoimmune Disease

I have been carrying a diagnosis of autoimmune disease for three years. My hospital-based specialists prescribed high dose steroids, which for me, came with many bad side effects and left me exhausted. I was told to prepare to live in my weakened condition for the rest of my life, which left me demoralized. Working with the Anatara Convergence Medicine program, I have improved and have enough increased energy to go back to work. I also have the tools to understand how to control my health, and be sensitive to correct minor symptoms earlier and prevent serious problems down the road. For me, that is a gift.

PEMF: We have begun incorporating a therapy, and it’s called Pulse Electro-Magnetic Field (PEMF) therapy, a modality that can assist your own body by initiating self-healing, since PEMF increases natural electrical charges in the body that are required for tissue regeneration, and research has proven neurological, physiological and psychological benefits with the use of PEMF therapy. Click here to read article on PEMF

At Anatara, we are recommending patients use the PEMF machine prior to intravenous (IV) and/or injection therapies, since the PEMF dilates arteries and capillaries, promoting better absorption and greater therapeutic effect.

PEMF can mimic the benefits of exercise, which can initiate the detoxification process, and thereby reduce inflammation in the body, even for those who are unable to physically exert themselves.

BEMER Physical Vascular Therapy: The Bemer is used to enhance the body’s own ability to heal itself by reliably and measurably optimizing microcirculation, immune system and other crucial physiological parameters. Watch how BEMER works – a fascinating 2 minute video showing changes in capillary perfusion.

Here are just a few of the conditions that IV Therapy is used to treat:

  • General Anti-Aging
  • Pain Disorders (Fibromyalgia, Arthritis)
  • Chronic Fatigue Syndrome
  • Autoimmune Disease
  • Heart Disease
  • Infections and Wound Healing
  • Neurodegenerative Conditions, i.e., Parkinson’s Disease
  • Cancer Care Support
  • Heavy Metal Toxicity
  • Eye Conditions

And many more…

Denise D. was treated for Lyme disease with the Hermann device, multi-pass ozone therapy as well as supportive intravenous therapies. She shares her story in the video below.

The PEMF really did a job on me at a critical time… and it was wonderful. I found it very effective.
