Anatara Medicine is San Francisco’s premier concierge medical practice and one of the most comprehensive integrative health centers in the world. Founded in 2010 by Dr. Ahvie Herskowitz — former Clinical Professor of Medicine at UCSF and Associate Professor in Cardiology and Molecular Immunology & Microbiology at Johns Hopkins, and current President of the American College for Advancement in Medicine — Anatara is built on a singular conviction: most of what medicine calls “disease” has a biological upstream, and most of what we call “aging” is declining cellular function. Anatara is a concierge membership medical practice that provides full access to Anatara’s integrative clinical team — experienced medical physicians and naturopathic doctors who practice within the Convergence Medicine framework. Membership is by invitation following your initial consultation. Concierge FAQs
Level 1 provides a strong clinical foundation with access to Anatara’s integrative team, comprehensive specialty testing, and the full range of cutting-edge IV and treatment modalities. Patients who require direct access to Dr. Herskowitz, the full HealthMap biological audit with 2,000+ biomarkers, AI-driven health modeling, or complex chronic disease management — including Cancer, Lyme disease, mold illness, or Long COVID — are best served at the Anatara Prime or Elite level.
Level 1 patients may upgrade to Prime or Elite at any time as their preference evolves.
Your first visit is a full day at our San Francisco clinic. We schedule new patients to arrive between 8:30–10:00 AM, and you should anticipate being with us for most of the day. Your initial appointment includes:
- MD and/or ND consultation (60–90 minutes)
- Physical examination
- Blood draw and specialty lab orders
- IV therapy session
Our patient coordinators will confirm all preparation details, logistics, and which practitioner(s) you will see at your initial appointment.
Anatara Medicine is 100% out-of-pocket. We do not accept or bill insurance. This allows our providers to practice without testing and treatment limitations from insurance plans.
- Introductory entry fee for all membership tiers: $200 (first appointment, non-refundable)
- Annual membership fees: Due at time of agreement (Day 1)
- Testing (non-cancer): Typically, $1,000–$3,000+ at initial visit
- Testing (cancer): Typically, $3,000–$7,000+ at initial visit
- IV therapies: Approximately $1,100–$2,000+ per treatment day
