Gregg Berman, RN
Gregg Berman, RN, has been part of the Anatara Medicine team for nine years, bringing over 25 years of nursing experience, and more than three decades in emergency medicine and trauma-informed healing to his nursing role. His work is grounded in a whole-person philosophy that honors the interconnectedness of body, mind, nervous system, and environment, aligning seamlessly with principles of integrative and functional medicine.
Gregg’s clinical practice is further enriched by advanced training in trauma-informed modalities, including Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT/Tapping), hypnotherapy, somatic awareness, Internal Family Systems (IFS)–informed work, mindfulness practices, and Forest Therapy (Shinrin-Yoku). He is a Certified EFT Practitioner and Certified Forest Therapy Guide, integrating evidence-based emotional and nervous system support alongside medical treatments.
At Anatara Medicine, Gregg provides skilled nursing care and IV therapies, while also supporting patients in addressing chronic stress, trauma patterns, emotional regulation, and lifestyle factors that impact healing outcomes. His approach is compassionate, grounded, and patient-centered, helping individuals feel safe, seen, and empowered in their healing journey.
Gregg believes that self-compassion, nervous system balance, and reconnection—to oneself and to nature—are foundational to lasting health. Patients often praise his calm presence, thoughtful inquiry, and ability to bridge clinical medicine with emotional insight.
In parallel with his medical career, Gregg has spent more than 30 years guiding wilderness expeditions throughout the United States and internationally, including Alaska, Mexico, Africa, and Central America. These experiences helped shape his understanding of nature as a powerful therapeutic partner and informed his approach to nervous system regulation, resilience, and stress recovery.
Outside the clinic, Gregg remains deeply engaged in education, writing, and serves his community. He is a published author, experienced kayak instructor, former marine ecology docent, and longtime volunteer with conservation, adaptive recreation, and outdoor education organizations. He also hosts a podcast, writes a weekly blog, and offers private sessions focused on emotional well-being and personal growth.
Gregg is honored to care for and walk alongside patients at Anatara Medicine, supporting them in cultivating resilience, balance, and wholeness—both within the clinic and beyond.

Client Testimonials
“I have worked with Gregg on a range of things from tackling the adrenaline storm I would have from needles, injections and IVs to processing the experiences of loss and death of loved ones. Does it work? Yes, I experience the difference it has made daily. Gregg is skilled at creating a safe space to be vulnerable allowing you to express parts of yourself you may not show or verbalize to the world or even acknowledge to yourself.”
“My tapping sessions have been just as transformative. Guided by Gregg, I was able to gain a deeper awareness of my own emotional blocks, defense mechanisms, and strengths. Gregg is both incredibly perceptive and intuitive, and he employs both to great benefit throughout a session. I was initially skeptical to try a tapping session to treat a throbbing migraine, but under one hour later, I was both pain free, and a believer.”
“Gregg has such a calm and supportive demeanor, and a kind, warm and open heart, that you immediately know you are in a safe space. I always feel deeply seen, heard, and understood by him. With his support and guidance, I have been able to understand myself much more deeply and have shifted, healed, and released so many things in my psyche that were directly and indirectly impacting my physical health, as well as my mental and emotional health.”
