Prolotherapy/Joint Injections

Prolozone injection therapy is an effective, non-surgical option for injected ligament, joint, tendon, and cartilage repair and rejuvenation, and providing pain relief in these areas. Prolozone administers a combination of collagen enriching substances, healing vitamins and minerals, anti-inflammatory medication support and ozone gas, which restores circulation and heals damaged tissues. By providing reactive oxygen, prolozone therapy can activate cartilage repair and regrowth. Prolozone therapy can support damaged or weakened connective tissue in and around joints and is successful in addressing a range of musculoskeletal conditions including osteoarthritis, rheumatoid arthritis, knee, hip, shoulder, neck pain, whiplash, degenerated or herniated discs, low back pain, plantar fasciitis, carpal tunnel syndrome, torn tendons, TMJ syndrome, sciatica, heel spurs, neuromas, tennis elbow, rotator cuff tears, knee injuries, and soft tissue injuries. As opposed to other types of joint injections, Prolozone addresses the pathology of the disorder at hand, yielding a higher likelihood of permanently reducing pain.

Platelet Rich Plasma

Platelet Rich Plasma is derived by drawing the patient’s blood and spinning it down in a centrifuge to isolate the growth factors that stimulate stem cells. It is especially useful in the treatment of intramuscular tears and often provides a more robust response than Dextrose for healing meniscus tears, cartilage defects, and tendons.

Adipose Derived Stem Cells

Adipose Derived Stem Cells are useful for treating more severe musculoskeletal conditions. Dextrose and Platelet Rich Plasma provide a signal for the stem cells in the area to respond, but Adipose Derived Stem Cells are able to become the tissue in that area.

Prolozone joint injections into knee

When a condition is more inflammatory or needs some help healing after one of the above procedures, another option is to use a Mesotherapy technique (injecting just below the skin in active areas) using nutrients like Glutathione and B12 or medications like Trental (to increase blood flow to an area) and Procaine (to repolarize the nerve’s membrane and break a pain cycle). We can also incorporate the use of acupuncture to work on strain patterns that run through the body. In my experience, there are points far away from an area of pain that can relieve pain instantly. Acupuncture is able to work on an energetic level as well as regulate powerful pain hormones and neurotransmitters.

We tailor each package to meet your needs with the array of natural healthcare modalities we offer, and will work closely with you to help you realize your goals.
